| Samba Police arrest two with 17g Heroin-like substance | | |  Early Times Report
Samba, May 15: Continuing its drive against drug smugglers/peddlers, Samba Police has arrested two drug peddlers in the jurisdiction of Police Station Samba and recovered 17 grams approximately heroin (chitta) like substance from their possession.
A Police party headed by Incharge Police Post Mansar during vehicle checking at naka Mansar, intercepted a motorcycle bearing registration No. JK14J-1903 for its checking. During checking, 17 grams approximately heroin like substance was recovered from the possession of the two persons riding on the said motorcycle. The drug peddlers identified as Mohd Rafiq S/o Abdul Gani R/o Kulakh, Sira district Udhampur and Showket Ali S/o Mohd Bashir R/o Sail Sallan, Gole Mela district Udhampur have been arrested and contraband item alongwith motorcycle have also been seized.
A case FIR No.138/2025 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Samba and investigation started. |
