Early Times Report BARAMULLA, May 16: District Employment & Counselling Centre (DE&CC) Baramulla today launched the Mission YUVA awareness-cum-registration campaign to support and guide aspiring entrepreneurs at the grassroots level. The initiative aims to engage potential candidates identified during the January 2025 Baseline Survey and introduce them to the opportunities available under Mission YUVA. The opening session focused on briefing YUVA Doots and Block Head Doots (BHDs) about recent updates. It was shared that the Mission YUVA mobile app and online portal are now live, allowing eligible youth to apply directly for benefits. In the second session, held at Panchayat Delina-A, participants from Delina A, B, C, and D were guided through the application process. Ten individuals downloaded the app, with four completing their applications on the spot. Mission YUVA is supported by a three-tier structure, including 174 YUVA Doots at the Panchayat level, BHDs at the block level, and a Single Business Development Unit (SBDU) at the district level.
