Tributes Paid to martyr ADDC Dr. Raj Kumar Thapa

RAJOURI, May 17: A solemn condolence meeting was organized today to pay heartfelt tributes to the late Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC), Dr. Raj Kumar Thapa, who attained martyrdom during a tragic cross-border shelling incident. Floral tributes were paid to the departed soul as a mark of respect.
DDC Chairman Rajouri Advocate Choudhary Naseem Liaqat, led the tributes, acknowledging Dr. Thapa’s invaluable contribution to the district and his exemplary leadership. The Vice Chairperson of the District Development Council Rajouri, Shabir Khan also remembered Dr. Raj Kumar Thapa’s dedication and service and expressed his deepest condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul’s eternal peace. Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Abhishek Sharma, while speaking on the occasion recalled Dr. Thapa as a dedicated officer whose people-centric approach and commitment to development had a lasting impact on Rajouri. He lauded his selfless service to the community.
The Deputy Commissioner urged the officers to draw inspiration from Dr. Thapa’s exemplary work ethic, selflessness, and commitment to public service. He advised them to imbibe these qualities in their own lives, striving to make a positive impact in the community and uphold the values that Dr. Thapa embodied.
