| MLA, Wani lashes out at communal forces | | | Early Times report Doda, Apr 22: MLA, Abdul Majid Wani lashed out at PDP, BJP for their anti-people policies and for spreading communal hatred among the people which create hindrance as for as development in the state in concerned. As per press release, Wani has said, these parties have no agenda except to exploit innocent people for their personnel gains and nothing else. He said Congress party has record of always working for the people. Panchayat Raj System has strengthened to give maximum power to people. National Employment guarantee Scheme has been introduced in all the villages and added congress party is going to ensure the strict implementation of National Employment Guarantee Scheme. During the last few years, under the leadership of Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh and UPA chairperson, Sonia Gandhi, centre has pumped a funds to the tune of thousands of crores in J&K for improving infrastructure especially connectivity through roads and bridges, improvement of health care facilitie4s, power and water supply, opening of new school, colleges, polytechnics, universities, anganwari centres etc. Apart from this, the last two and half years rule of Ghulam Nabi Azad, special focus has also been given to develop new tourist spots by strengthening and setting up new tourism development authorities all over the state. New Power Projects have been cleared up to ensure more power generation as well as employment to the local youth. All the issues may be basic infrastructural development, basic civic facilities like water, electricity, roads, health, transportation, civil liberties, security, safe and healthy life and religious sentiments can only be addressed by the congress government at centre which has always proved to be responsive and reactive to Public Grievances and Problems, whether day to day community problems or individual grievances. He said coming era will be People’s Empowerment i.e. Governance for people by people.
