| JAC of govt. employees express resentment over SRO | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 22: The J&K Govt employees but joint action committee have expressed great resentment over the SRO, which is silent over public sector employees in a meeting held here today chaired jointly by Suresh Sharma, Gh. Nabi etc. The leaders lamented the lackadaisal approach of so called JCC leaders who have harvested the emotions of employees for their personal gains and even failed to get anything in writing from the Govt. regarding the issued discussed and settled in the negotiation. Govt. must understand that taking these leaders into their lap will not solve the problem and there are forces available to stand by the employees of PSUs/Govt. They demanded the issuance of SRO regarding implementation of sixth pay commission report in favour of PSUs employees, Conversion of COLA into DA and its release immediately held up for the last four years, Increase of HRA to 20% as per central Govt. employees. Issuance of orders regarding removal of pay anomaly of clerical cadre as agreed by the govt. on 10th March 2008. Increase in the wages of daily rated workers to Rs. 200/-. Policy regarding regularization of daily wagers, adhoc and consolidated, contractual employees and Increase in the retirement age to 60 years. Satnam Singh, Mohd. Yousuf, Naresh Pal, Hardip Singh, Darshan Angurana, Sandip Khajuria, Anchal Bakshi, Ravi Kumar, Anoop Sharma. and Parshotam Sharma and others were present at the press conference.
