Kavinder calls for immediate action to identify & expose Pakistani Spies operating in India
5/19/2025 10:41:08 PM
Early Times Report

Jammu, May 19: Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister, Kavinder Gupta has strongly advocated for a nationwide crackdown on individuals residing in India who are allegedly working as spies for Pakistan. His statement comes in the wake of the arrest of Haryana-based travel vlogger Jyoti Malhotra, who has been arrested of sharing sensitive information with Pakistani operatives.
Speaking after the meeting held at Party Headquarters in Jammu, the BJP stalwart emphasized that national security must remain the topmost priority and that such betrayals cannot and should not be tolerated under any circumstances.
“The recent arrest of a travel vlogger involved in espionage for Pakistan is a grim reminder that the enemy is not always across the border — sometimes they are living among us. This is the right time to identify, expose, and punish such elements who are compromising the integrity and sovereignty of our nation,” he said.
Kavinder further called on intelligence agencies to intensify surveillance and verification mechanisms to root out individuals engaged in anti-national activities.
“These are not just isolated incidents. There is a pattern that needs urgent attention. Those who misuse their profession, freedom, or platforms to serve enemy interests must face the strictest punishment,” he said.
The former deputy Chief Minister also urged citizens to stay vigilant and report any suspicious activity to law enforcement agencies, asserting that national interest must always come before individual motives or affiliations.
Among those who were present in the meeting included Sanjita Dogra, President Mahila Morcha, Veenu Khanna, Baldev Singh Billawria, Ved Sharma, Perduman Singh, Kulbhushan Mohtra, Bawa Sharma, Satish Shastri, Suman Raina, Usha Rajput, Rekha Mahajan, Prerna Nanda, Malti Sharma and Sunita Raina.
