Partap World School gears up to host Naval NCC Residential Camp

PATHANKOT, May 19: In a landmark development for Pathankot, the prestigious 2 PB Naval Unit NCC, Amritsar is set to organize a state-level Naval NCC Residential Camp at Partap World School in June 2025. This initiative is expected to bring high-quality training, exposure, and national-level discipline to young NCC cadets in the region.
In preparation for the event, Commanding Officer Cdr N. Nishant of the 2 PB Naval NCC Unit conducted a comprehensive three-day inspection visit to Partap World School. During the visit, Cdr Nishant thoroughly reviewed the school's infrastructure, boarding facilities, and surrounding amenities to evaluate its readiness to host the large-scale residential training camp.
Expressing satisfaction, Cdr Nishant lauded the school management for their proactive measures and preparedness. "The inspection visit was fruitful, and we are confident that Partap World School is well-prepared to host an impactful and disciplined training camp," he stated.
The final schedule and structure of the NCC camp are currently under planning and will be announced soon.
As part of the visit, Cdr N. Nishant, along with the school's leadership, met with Deputy Commissioner of Pathankot, Sh. Aditya Uppal, to extend gratitude for the administration's ongoing support. They also toured the Ranjit Sagar Dam and Chamrod area, acknowledging the cooperation of Er. Virender Singh, Chief Engineer of the RSD Dam Project, for his assistance in facilitating arrangements.

Mr. Sunny Mahajan, Director of Partap World School, said, "We are honoured to collaborate with the NCC for this important initiative. Hosting the Naval Camp reflects our commitment to nation-building through youth development."
Ms. Oshin Mahajan, Director, added, "It's a proud moment for the school and the city. We are ready to extend all necessary support to ensure the success of this event."
Principal Ms. Subhra Rani echoed the enthusiasm: "Our staff and students are enthusiastic and prepared to contribute to the smooth execution of the camp. We look forward to this great learning opportunity."
The proposed camp stands as a significant milestone for both the school and the city of Pathankot, promising to strengthen the spirit of service, discipline, and leadership among youth through the NCC platform.
