| Hardcore criminal booked under PSA, lodged in Udhampur jail | | |  Early Times Report
KATHUA, May 19: J&K Police Kathua under the overall supervision of SSP Kathua Sh. Shobhit Saksena IPS apprehended 01 hardcore criminal/History Sheeter who was involved in various criminal activities at PS Billawar booked under Public Safety Act 1978( PSA) and lodged at District Jail Udhampur. On dated 19/05/2025 Police team of P/S Billawar under the close supervision SDPO Billawar Sh. Neeraj Padyar & SHO PS Billawar Insp. Zaheer Mushtaq apprehended one hardcore criminal namely 1. Mohd Gulzar S/o Abdullah R/o Dhanu Parole Tehsil Billawar District Kathua who is hardcore Criminal /history sheeter involved in various criminal activities.
In order to prevent the illegal activities within the district, "Dossier" was prepared against the accused person and sent to the District Magistrate Kathua for his detention under Public Safety Act- 1978 (PSA). Accordingly District Magistrate Kathua issued a detention warrant against the accused person under the Public Safety Act 1978. Accordingly, the warrant has been executed today and he has been lodged in District Jail Udhampur to curtail his illegal activities.
