JAMMU, May 20: The NSS unit of Government College for Women, Bhagwati Nagar Jammu, organized an interactive session for semester four students to discuss the objectives, expectations, and guidelines of the upcoming summer internship training program. The session, held under the patronage of Principal Dr. Naveen Anand, aimed to equip students with essential knowledge and preparation for their internships.
Mr. Vikas Sharma, Senior Journalist and Managing Director of IMCSD, served as the resource person for the session. He highlighted the critical role internships play in bridging the gap between academic learning and practical application, emphasizing the importance of choosing internships aligned with students' career goals. Mr. Sharma also provided useful guidance on internship search methods, including online portals, industry contacts, and institutional tie-ups. Additionally, he shared sample formats for resumes and cover letters.
