| Either support our Autonomy proposal or mend your ways: Kamal tells Congress | | Says media, opposition created furor over his nomination | | Early Times Report Srinagar, Apr 22- Former minister and senior National Conference leader, Mustafa Kamal on Wednesday cautioned Congress party to either support NC’s autonomy proposal in the Parliament or mend their ways. Talking to media persons on the sidelines of a discussion that was held at Radio Kashmir, Srinagar, on Wednesday morning, Kamal said that his party will take its autonomy proposal to the Parliament and will debate it with the centre. “We will take our Autonomy proposal to New Delhi and stress its implementation. If Congress party can’t support us on this account then they should mend their ways,” Kamal said. “New Delhi has to accept our autonomy proposal that is the only viable solution to the Kashmir issue,” he added. Accusing opposition parties of creating furor over his nomination papers, Kamal said that his nomination papers were not rejected but propaganda was unleashed by opposition parties and media as well. “My nomination papers were not rejected but the opposition exaggerated the issue. Media too reported in a false manner,” Kamal said, adding “My nomination papers have been accepted and I’ll contest from Hazratbal constituency.”
