Early Times Report JAMMU, May 22: In an effort to promote technical education and enhance career opportunities for youth, Government Polytechnic College Jammu conducted an Admission Awareness Campaign across several schools in Bhalwal Zone. Under the directions of the Principal, Er. Talet Mahmood, a team of faculty members visited Government Girls High School Aghore, Government High School Raipur, and Government High School Kheri, spreading awareness about the college's three-year Diploma programmes in Engineering and Non-Engineering streams. The awareness team comprised Raj Shekhar (HoD, Automobile), Mehmood Ahmed, Manjeet Singh, Vicky Sharma, and Rakesh Kumar, who interacted with students, providing detailed insights into various diploma courses, the admission process, and scholarship opportunities available at Government Polytechnic College Jammu. During the sessions, students were encouraged to consider polytechnic education as a viable pathway to skill development and employability. Er. Vicky Sharma highlighted the practical benefits of such programs, stating, "Polytechnic education offers hands-on training, industry-relevant skills, and faster employability. This campaign aims to help students and their parents make informed choices about technical careers."
