Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 23: The J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu, organized a grand Tiranga Rally today to celebrate the courage and valor of the Indian Armed Forces in successfully executing Operation Sindoor, a decisive military campaign against terror infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoJK). The rally, led by the Association's President, K. Nirmal Kotwal, Vice President Baldev Singh, General Secretary Pardeep Majotra, Joint Secrtary Anshu Mahajan and Treasurer Rahul Aggarwal saw enthusiastic participation from members of the legal fraternity, all united in expressing solidarity with the nation's security forces.
The Tiranga Rally commenced from the High Court premises in Jammu and proceeded through District Court Complex and culminated at High Court Chowk, Janipur, with advocates proudly carrying the Indian Tricolour and chanting slogans such as 'Bharat Mata ki Jai' and 'Indian Army Zindabad'. The event was a heartfelt tribute to the armed forces for their swift and precise response to the April 22, 2025, terror attack in Pahalgam, which claimed 26 civilian lives. Operation Sindoor, launched on May 7, 2025, targeted nine terror camps, delivering a significant blow to terrorism and showcasing India's military strength and resolve.
Addressing the gathering, President K. Nirmal Kotwal lauded the bravery and dedication of the Indian Army, Navy, Air Force, and other security forces involved in Operation Sindoor. "This historic operation is a testament to the unparalleled courage of our armed forces and the resolute leadership of our nation. The J&K High Court Bar Association stands firmly with our soldiers, who have not only protected our sovereignty but also restored pride in every Indian heart," said Kotwal. He further emphasized the importance of national unity and the legal community's commitment to supporting initiatives that uphold India's integrity and security.
The rally also served as a platform to reaffirm the Association's dedication to fostering patriotism and solidarity in the region. Participants expressed their gratitude to the armed forces for their sacrifices and highlighted the significance of Operation Sindoor as a symbol of India's zero-tolerance policy against terrorism.
The J&K High Court Bar Association Jammu reaffirms its commitment to promoting national pride and unity through such initiatives.
