| BJP MLA escapes unhurt, 2 injured in road accident | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Apr 23- BJP MLA Choudhary Sukhnandan from Billawar constituency escaped unhurt in an accident on the Jammu-Pathankot National Highway while two others, including a woman, were critically injured, police sources said. ''MLA from Billawar Choudhary Sukhnandan along with party workers was on its way to Kathua this morning when his vehicle met with an accident with a car heading towards Jammu near Tarna Nullah at Dayalachak on national highway,'' police sources said. Police parties and locals on receiving the information rushed to the spot. The MLA, however, escaped unhurt but two people, including a woman, were critically injured. The injured were identified as Pushpa Rani, wife of Madan Lal, and her son Yash Pal, residents of Rakh Batalian, Udhampur. They were shifted to the Government Medical College Hospital Jammu and their condition was stated to be normal. Sukhnandan was on his way to Kathua in support of Dr Nirmal Singh, BJP candidate from Doda-Udhampur Parliamentary Constituency which is going to the polls in the second phase of polls.
