| Attendants stage protests against GB Pant authorities | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Srinagar, Apr 23- Hundreds of people including attendants of patients at the G B Pant hospital on Thursday staged demonstrations accusing the administration of negligence. Reports said that hundreds of people including attendants of the patients at the G B Pant hospital staged demonstrations to protest mismanagement in the hospital. Shouting slogans against the administration, the protesters alleged that the hospital has turned into a slaughter house as doctors and the Para medical staff gives little attention to the patients. “Last night my son was injected by a nurse but she forgot to take out the needle due to which my son was writhing in pain,” Mohammad Younis Khan, a resident of South Kashmir’s Shopian said. Sajad Ahmad Khan, a resident of Makhdoom Sahib, said that few days back the Para medical staff provided contaminated glucose to his ailing son. He said, despite raising the issue with the hospital authorities no action was taken against the Para medical staff. “It was shocking to see how the hospital authorities are playing with the lives of the kid.”, Khan added.
