| Volleyball: Physical Education wins trophy | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, April 23: Department of Physical Education lifted the volleyball trophy beating Department of Urdu in straight sets in the ongoing inter-department sports meet of University of Jammu, here today.
It was not an easy task for the Physical Education in the title clash as Kamran Butt and Raj Kumar of Urdu fought for every point throughout the game. However, Anil Sharma, Karun Magotra displayed some good spike work, especially in the dying moments of the successive sets to win the game 25-21, 25-19 and also the title.
In all, 15 Post Graduate Departments of the University took part in volleyball tournament. The final was officiated by Neeraj Sharma, Rajan Tah and Pawan Sharma.
