Dental Sciences, Sehora, successfully concludes 10-day World No Tobacco Day program | | | Early Times Report SEHORA, May 31: The Department of Public Health Dentistry at the Institute of Dental Sciences (IDS), Sehora, concluded its extensive 10-day program observed in recognition of World No Tobacco Day. The initiative, aimed at raising crucial awareness about the detrimental effects of tobacco use, was led by Dr. Esha Bali, Head of the Department, under the supervision of Dr. Sarabjeet Singh, Principal, IDS. The comprehensive program engaged the local community through a diverse range of educational and outreach activities. Key initiatives included poster making competition, Distribution of educational materials in slum areas, dedicated dental health check-up camp and Distribution of oral hygiene kits. These initiatives were strategically designed to educate the community about the critical link between tobacco use and oral health risks, while promoting the adoption of healthier habits. "Our 10-day World No Tobacco Day program was a resounding success, and we are incredibly proud of the impact it had on the community," stated Dr. Esha Bali.
