Jammu, June 1: In a remarkable display of efficiency and dedication, the Janipur Police have successfully solved a firearm incident case that occurred in the early hours of today. A case was registered at PS Janipur vide FIR No.78/2025 U/s 109/3(5) BNS, 3/25, 5(9) Arms Act, following a written application by Rajinder Singh, resident of Paloura, Jammu, alleging an attempt on his life by unknown persons. The police team, led by SHO Janipur, under the supervision of SP City North, SDPO City West, and overall guidance of SSP Jammu, worked tirelessly to identify and apprehend the culprits. Through a combination of technical expertise, human intelligence, and CCTV footage analysis, the police were able to crack the case within 24 hours. Two accused persons, Rohit Singh S/o Pritam Singh R/o Paloura Jammu and Veer Manhas S/o Ashok Singh Manhas R/o Paloura Jammu, have been arrested, and one involved Bolero vehicle bearing Registration No.JK02AX-5688 has been seized. The Janipur Police’s swift action demonstrates their commitment to maintaining law and order and ensuring the safety of citizens. Further investigation is underway to ascertain the involvement of other persons.
