Vishwa Yog Sansthan organizes special Yoga Awareness Programme

Jammu, June 3: In the run-up to the International Day of Yoga, Vishwa Yog Sansthan organized a special Yoga Awareness Programme under the esteemed guidance of Yoga Guru Karan Ji.
The celebrations are scheduled to take place on June 19th, 20th, and 21st at the Vishwa Yog Sansthan premises, aiming to inspire mass participation from the people of Jammu.
The event was graced by Honourable Member of Parliament, Shri Yugal Kishore Ji, who was warmly welcomed by the members of the Sansthan.
He served as the Chief Guest and lauded the organization’s dedicated efforts in promoting yoga and holistic health across India.
The programme commenced with an invigorating yoga session conducted by Yoga Guru Karan Ji, followed by the soulful chanting of the Hanuman Chalisa, creating a spiritually uplifting atmosphere.
Addressing the gathering, Guru Karan Ji appealed to all citizens of Jammu to participate in the free yoga classes being offered by the Sansthan and to join the upcoming International Yoga Day celebrations.
Highlighting the broader vision of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Guru Karan Ji emphasized that India’s journey towards becoming a “Vishwa Guru” is being strongly supported through the global spread of yoga. He also spoke about preserving and promoting Dogra culture and tourism in Jammu & Kashmir as part of a holistic cultural resurgence.
Shri Yugal Kishore Ji praised the relentless efforts of Vishwa Yog Sansthan in taking yoga to every corner of the country.
He appreciated the Sansthan’s contribution to public health and well-being and expressed his support for its continued mission.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the members of the Sansthan and local citizens, reinforcing the message that Yoga is not just a practice, but a movement for global harmony and health.
