| Kharu seeks votes Bhatti | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Apr 24: Qari Zahir Abbas Bhatti an independent candidate contesting from Srinagar-Budgam Lok Sabha seat has urged upon the voters of the constituency to make him successful in the election so that he can fight for their rights at the august house. Bhatti in a press meet held here today said, due to militancy in the state over a lakh of people got killed and for this both late Rajeev Gandhi and ex. CM Farooq Abdullaha are responsible for militancy in the state and added that one fails to understand why not salary of Aanganwari workers is not being raised and not regularizing the services of SPO’s home guards and ReT. Dr. A.K. Kharu sr. Vice President and spokesman of All India forward Bloc while addressing the media said that none of the govt. for the last twenty years has been serious regarding the problems of displaced Kashmiri migrants, and problems are multiplying day to day. There is no plan with the Govt, to rehabilitate the Kashmiri migrants. The Prime Ministers package is also not implemented, he said. Kharu appealed to the migrants of Srinagar and Budgam district to vote for Bhatti and make him victorious so that he is able to fight for the basic rights of migrants. Kharu added that our party which is a constituent of third front shall fight tooth and nail for the home land of K.P. migrants. He further added that an equal share be given to K.P. Muslim and Sikh Migrants. Those who was present in the Press conference were Rajan Padhri, Ghulam Nabi Dar Mohd Shafi Bhat, Ab. Waheed Katoch and Nasrina Jee.
