JAMMU, June 3: NCORD Committee of Govt. College of Education, Jammu, organized one-day awareness programme on "Drugs and Its Ill-Effects" today. The event aimed to educate students about the dangers of drug abuse and its consequences.
The programme was organized by Prof. Sunanda Rani, Convener, NCORD, under the patronage of Dr. Jyoti Parihar, Principal, Govt. College of Education, Jammu.
Dr. Dupinder Kaur, Associate Professor at Govt. Medical College, Kathua, served as the resource person for the programme. In her power point presentation, She shared her expertise on the ill-effects of drug abuse and motivated students to stay away from drugs. Worthy Principal Dr.Jyoti Parihar presented a planter and certificate of appreciation to Dr. Dupinder Kaur for her valuable contribution to the programme.
NCORD Committee and staff members including Prof. Rajinder Kaur, Dr. Shalini Sharma, Dr. Ambica Sharma, Prof. Roopa Kumari were present in the event. The event concluded with the formal vote of thanks presented by Dr. Ambica Kumari. About 50 students of the college participated in the event. |
