Jodhamal hosts Interschool Cadet Roller Skating Championship

JAMMU, June 3: Jodhamal Public School successfully organized an Interschool Cadet Roller Skating Championship, which witnessed enthusiastic participation from 18 schools across the region. The event provided a vibrant platform for young cadet skaters to showcase their talent, discipline, and competitive spirit in a well-coordinated and high-energy environment. More than 180 students participated in the event.The Chief Guest for the event was Mr. Rajesh Anand, who is currently the coach of the Indian team and has captained the Indian Roller Skating team.
Other guests were Mr. Prithpal Singh, Vice President of the Jammu & Kashmir Roller Skating Association, and Mr. Jatin Sabarwal, an international silver medalist and state awardee. Their encouragement and support added great value to the event and further motivated the participating students.
The event was flagged off by Mr. Nandan Kuthiala, the Trustee of Jodhamal School. After intense competition Jodhamal School emerged as the overall champion with a total of 125 points. International Delhi Public School secured the second position with 70 points, followed by Presentation Convent School in third place with 54 points. The performances reflected the high standards of training and enthusiasm among young skaters from all the schools.
The host school, Jodhamal Public School, proudly celebrated the achievements of its medal-winning students. Among the gold medalists were Preesha Gupta, Aditya, Pawit Gupta, Naavish, Itea, Simarjot Singh, Abhynash Jamwal, Tasyaun Singh, Pavitt, Abhite Puri, Aaditya Gupta, and Naisha.Silver medals were won by Zaiyat, Nalinkash, Abhite Puri, Hriday, Kavisha, Ayanish Singh, and Sahraj. Bronze medal winners included Kaarvish Gupta, Asadyaan, Azaan, Mishika, Mysha Kaur, Yuvaan Talwar, Aryan, Raionya Piroch, and Hridoy.
The event was organised and co-ordinated by Mr. Kamal Anand, the Secretary of the Skating Federation. Ms. Neetu Johri, Headmistress was also there to encourage the students.The overall management of the event was done by Ms. Deepali Puri, CCA Coordinator Jr Wing. The event was a resounding success and reaffirmed Jodhamal Public School's commitment to fostering excellence not just in academics, but also in sports and extracurricular activities. The school continues to provide its students with opportunities to compete at the highest levels and grow into confident, capable individuals.
