Divine events J&K organises musical competition at Shaurya International School

JAMMU, June 6: Divine Events J&K, in collaboration with Shaurya International School, successfully organised a grand vocal and instrumental music competition titled "A Musical Experience with Amritpal Singh" under the theme "Say No to Mobile Phones, Yes to Music."
Shri Vikram Randhawa, Hon'ble BJP MLA (Bahu), graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The event was further honoured by the presence of Dr. Hemja Mengi (State Vice President, BJYM J&K UT), Mr. Harinder Mahajan, Chairman, Shaurya International School, Sahil Mahajan, Vice-Chairman, and Dr. Rajesh Gandral, the Principal of the school, as Guests of Honour. All dignitaries emphasised the importance of music in students' holistic development and encouraged them to pursue it with passion.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students representing 10 prominent schools of Jammu, who showcased their musical talents across various categories. In the Instrumental (Guitar) segment, Manan Gupta (Jodhmal Public School) won the 5-10 yrs category, while Mehrab Singh, Thatagat (APS, Sunjwaan), and Sanchit Singh (Shaurya International School) secured the top three positions in the 10-15 yrs category. Ojas Gupta and Aarush Sharma (both from Jodhamal Public School) excelled in the 15-20 years group. In the duet category, Mrinank Verma & Sanchit Singh (Shaurya International School) bagged 1st place, followed by Harshit & John (British International School). For Instrumental (Keyboard), winners included Sanmay Gupta (KC International) and Ridhaan Gupta (Jodhamal Public School) in the 5-10 yrs group; Manveer & Dhairya (Jodhamal Public School), Sanvi Sharma (APS, Sunjwaan), and Mehransh Singh (JK Public School) in the 10-15 yrs group; and Ashmita Sharma in the 15-20 yrs category. In Vocals, Ridhaan Gupta, Sanmay Gupta, and Khushi Kapoor were top performers in the 5-10 yrs group, while Avni Sharma (Jodhamal Public School), Adil Rahman Lone (APS,Sunjwaan), and Ashvika (Shaurya International School) shone in the 10-15 yrs group. Group Song winners were Khuda Baksh Public School (1st) and KG Public School (2nd). In special categories, Rohitka Sharma won 1st prize in Santoor, and Rohansh Sharma claimed 1st prize in Drums.

The Chief Guest, Vikram Randhawa, and the Guests of Honour appreciated the students' musical talent and emphasised the importance of music in youth development, encouraging students to choose music as a positive alternative to excessive mobile phone use.
Chairman of Divine Events and renowned music mentor Amritpal Singh extended heartfelt gratitude to the esteemed guests, participants, parents, and school management for their support.
