JAMMU, June 6: Rotary Club Jammu City, under the able leadership of President Rtn. Shivangi Gupta, organized an impactful awareness seminar on organ donation at Dogra Law College.
President Rtn. Shivangi Gupta introduced the students and faculty to the various humanitarian activities carried out by Rotary Club in her address and passionately encouraged the youth and staff to come forward and pledge for organ donation, emphasizing its importance in saving lives.
The keynote speaker for the seminar was Ms. Anshu Sharma, Consultant (IEC/Media), SOTTO J&K, who gave an in-depth presentation on the procedures, myths, and facts related to organ donation, and clarified queries raised by students and faculty.
Chairman of Dogra Educational Institutions, Sh. G. S. Charak, appreciated the initiative of Rotary Club Jammu City and lauded their consistent efforts toward social causes, especially in the field of health awareness.
