Man shot at Gangyal Chowk in suspected group rivalry | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, June 6: A man was shot and injured in broad daylight at Gangyal Chowk on Friday in what police suspect to be a case of group rivalry. Initial investigations have ruled out any terror-related angle. The victim has been identified as Paramjeet Singh, a resident of Sehora and a known history-sheeter of Police Station Gangyal. Police said he was attacked by unidentified persons and sustained injuries in the firing. They have taken cognizance of the incident, and a case has been registered. Meanwhile, further investigation is underway to trace the attackers and ascertain the exact motive behind the attack. |
