Mankind activities have wreaked havoc on the planet's ecological balance and stability. Smoke from automobiles, industries and burning of harmful materials has polluted the air. As a result, greenhouse gases have accumulated and climate has warmed which is a consequence of global warming. Another big issue, that has led to environmental degradation is deforestation. He stressed that by reusing, reducing and recycling waste we can conserve our environment. We can make small changes such as avoiding the use of plastics, planting more trees in our neighborhood, utilizing all natural resources with caution for protection of our planet. Thus, we all have a moral obligation to make our planet a safer and healthier place to live for ourselves and future generations. |
