| Nomination papers for Ladakh L S seat scrutinized | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, APR 25: The nomination papers of al the candidate of various political parties as well as independent candidates were scrutinized in the office of the returning officer, 4 Ladakh parliamentary constituency here today.
The validly nominated candidates are Phuntsog Namgial, son of late Kunzang resident of Old Road Leh (Indian National Congress), Ghulam Murtaza son fo hajo Mohd resident of Pashkyum Kargil (PDP), Asharaf Ali son of Sheikh Mirza Hussain resident of Zangsti Leh (Independent), Azgar Ali Karbalai son of Sheikh Ghulam Abbas resident of Bagh-e-Khumainia Kargil (Independent), Stanzin Lakpa son of Kesand Namgyual resident of Fort Road Leh (Independent), Thinless Angmo wife of Lobaznag Phunchok resident of Sankar Lhe (Independent), Tsering Mangyal son of Sonam Dorje resident of Shenam Kargil (Independent) Syed Abbas Razvi son of Syed Mohd. Razvi resident of Taisunu Kargil (Independent), Abdul Aziz son of Munshi Habibullah resident of Lankore Kargil (Independent), Gulam Raza son of Gh. Hussain resident of Khandi Kargil (Independent), lama Lobzang son of Norboo Tsering resident of Skara Leh (Independent), Liaqat Ali Wazir son of Mohd. Ali Wazir resident of Nunamchey Kargil (Independent) and Mohd. Sadiq son of Mohd. Rajab resident of Shargol Kargil (Independent). The last date for withdrawal of candidature is on 27th April 2009.
