JAMMU, June 9: During routine checking at PCP Battal, a police team from PS Majalta intercepted a Load Carrier bearing registration number JK14K-2101, coming from Ramkot towards Udhampur. On noticing the police, the driver abandoned the vehicle and fled from the spot.
Upon inspection, one bovine was found loaded inside the vehicle in a cruel and inhumane manner.
In this regard, a case FIR No. 48/2025 under Section 223 BNS and 11 PCA Act has been registered at PS Majalta.
Investigation revealed that the bovine had been stolen from Garh Pamasta the previous night. The rightful owner, Babu Ram has identified the rescued bovine at PS Majalta. |
