| APC conducts Annual General Body Meeting | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 9: Anantnag Prabandhak Committee (APC) conducted its Annual General Body Meeting in Sanskriti Bhawan Jammu on 08/06/2025 under the chairmanship of Sundri Lal Koul. President S K Kandroo expressed deep concern over govt apathy towards non-payment of rent on accommodation being utilised by security forces in Nagbal Complex Anantnag since Jan 1990 as also partial vacation of same for community use. He also informed about long term social & charitable initiatives taken by APC for financially weak and poor families. General Secretary D K Handoo highlighted achievements regarding renovation works carried out in Nagbal Anantnag and also presented the Balance Sheet of APC for the year 2024-25. Election Officer B L Bhat explained the entire process of election exercise and also presented certificates to elecácd office bearers of APC. The forum unanimously supported a resolution impressing upon govt for passing of Temples & Shrines Bill at the earliest. Community members who spoke on the pccasion were P N Goja (virtually from USA), JK Bhat, Kashmiri Lal Bhat, M K Bambroo, P K Goja, Vinod Koul. Vice president B K Wantoo presented the vote of thanks and DR Handoo conducted the proceedings. Others present on the occasion were Inderjeet Goja, A K Koul, Anil Razdan, Roshan Lal Kandroo, Navin Handoo and Jetinder Reshi. |
