The function was organized under the chairmanship of General Secretary, Vijay Bakaya and Provincial President, Jammu, S. Manjit Singh.
The function was organized by Provincial Secretary / Incharge Trade Wing, Ajaz Kazmi. In this function, Vijay Bakaya and S. Manjit Singh welcomed the prominent social activist, and leader of trade union, Onkar Singh and his supporters into the Party fold.
While welcoming them into the Party, Vijay Bakaya expressed hope that the joining would strengthen the part at the grass root level, and the trade union will be able to highlight the issues confronted by the employees, and daily wagers in various Govt departments.
Meanwhile, S. Manjit Singh also appreciated Ajaz Kazmi for his work in the Trade Union, expressing faith that the fresh joining would further fortify the union in both the regions of Jammu and Kashmir.

We have highlighted the demands of the daily wagers, including their regularization, release of pending wages, and implementation of the minimum wage act," he recalled.
He chalked out how the trade union has planned to work for the welfare of the employees/ daily wagers so that their pending issues can be redressed and the Govt is compelled to accept their demands.
He however expressed concern over the plight of the employees/daily wagers because of certain harassment cases, delay in release of pending wages, and failure in addressing grievances redressed.
