Early Times Report
LUCKNOW, June 9: As part of its ongoing pursuit to make education more holistic and future-ready, the Yogi Government is working to modernize the entire education system through administrative reforms, technology integration, and leadership development. As part of this effort, a five-day residential training programme for Basic Shiksha Adhikaris (BSAs) from 35 districts commenced on June 9, 2025, at the Institute of Financial Management Training and Research, Lucknow. BSAs from the remaining 40 districts will attend the second phase from June 23 to 27. The training aims to equip BSAs with expertise in the NIPUN Bharat Mission, inclusive education, financial management, and effective use of digital portals. Uttar Pradesh's Basic Education Minister Sandeep Singh described the training as a "leadership school for education administration," calling it the foundation for transformative changes in the state's education policy. He emphasized that the Yogi Government's efforts extend beyond mere policy declarations-by developing strong, educated, and tech-savvy leadership, it aims to ensure effective implementation at the grassroots level. Held at the Institute of Financial Management Training and Research in Lucknow, this programme aims to enhance BSAs' performance, financial discipline, technical competence, and leadership abilities.
