Indian Army Conducted Battle Field Nursing Assistant Cadre For J&K Police | | | Early Times Report
Akhnoor, June 10: The Indian Army has successfully conduct a Battle Field Nursing Assistant (BFNA) Cadre for Jammu & Kashmir Police at Akhnoor region. The training event aimed at enhancing operational readiness in field and improve first responder capability during real-time combat and crisis situations. The cadre was attended by a significant number of police personnel’s from different units of J&K Police. Over the duration of the cadre, the trainees were trained in various critical aspects of battlefield first aid including bleeding control, airway management, fracture immobilization and casualty evacuation procedures under combat conditions. The exercise marks an important step towards jointness and interoperability between security forces deployed in Jammu and Kashmir. Indian Army medical professionals used interactive sessions, demonstrations and realistic simulation to ensure that the police personnel were better prepared to handle medical emergencies in challenging and hostile environment. Speaking on the occasion, the Commanding Officer of Indian Army appreciated the enthusiastic participation of J&K Police and also highlighted the importance of such initiative to improve synergy and collaboration in field operations. He said, “Training like these help bridge the gap and enhance mutual understanding in high pressure scenario.” The J&K Police personnel’s also expressed gratitude towards Indian Army for organizing this cadre and said the skills learnt will be helpful both in field duty and civil emergency alike. |
