Desh Bhagat Dental College and Hospital receives recognition for increased MDS Intake Capacity

MANDI GOBINDGARH, June 10: Desh Bhagat Dental College and Hospital, a constituent college of Desh Bhagat University (NAAC A+), is pleased to announce that it has received official recognition from the Dental Council of India, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, to increase the intake capacity for its Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) program in the specialties of Orthodontics & Dentofacial Orthopaedics and Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics. The intake has been increased from 2 seats to 5 seats following successful inspections and adherence to the prescribed guidelines. This approval makes Desh Bhagat Dental College and Hospital the only institution in the state of Punjab to offer 5 seats in these dental disciplines-a significant achievement that underscores the institution's growing reputation in dental education and healthcare. Chancellor Dr. Zora Singh and Vice Chancellor Dr. Harsh Sadawarti extended their heartfelt thanks to the Almighty and expressed deep gratitude for the collective efforts that made this milestone possible. They emphasized the university's ongoing commitment to promoting health education and fostering excellence in the community.
