Early Times Report JAMMU, June 12: The 624th Prakash Utsav (birth anniversary) of Sant Kabir Ji was celebrated with immense devotion and enthusiasm today at Kabir Kalyan Kendra, Jhiri Shamachak, drawing thousands of Kabirpanthis from across the region. The grand celebration took place at Mandir Shama Chak Jhiri, where devotees gathered in large numbers to pay their heartfelt tributes to the revered saint. The event witnessed a spiritually enriching Satsang (spiritual discourse) and a Bhandara (community feast), both organized within the premises of Kabir Kendra. Prominent personalities and dignitaries including political activists, social leaders, and community elders graced the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, President of the Sabha, Kunti Devi, highlighted the message of unity, peace, and social reform taught by Sant Kabir Ji. She emphasized the need for the younger generation to imbibe these values in today's times. Master Tarachand, in his address, shed light on the profound philosophy and poetic wisdom of Sant Kabir Ji, stressing that his teachings remain relevant and guiding even in the modern era. Professor Rajkumar, State President, also spoke on the life and contributions of the saint, praising the community's efforts in preserving Kabir Ji's legacy and values.
