Jammu, June 13: The Department of Commerce, School of Social Sciences, Cluster University of Jammu, in collaboration with Zerodha Varsity, inaugurated the transformative “Stock Market Training and Financial Literacy Program for the Nxt-Gen Investor” on June 13, 2025.
Organized under the patronage of Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) K. S. Chandrasekar and esteemed guidance of Dr. Vishal Sharma, Dean, School of Social Sciences, the program is a major initiative aimed at equipping students with crucial financial knowledge and investment skills essential in today’s rapidly evolving economic environment. Offered free of cost to all students of the university, the program emphasizes financial literacy as a vital life skill.
Spanning over 25 hours of live interactive sessions, the program covers comprehensive modules on stock market fundamentals, personal finance, technical analysis, and fundamental analysis.
The inaugural session was graced by faculty members, industry professionals, and over 85 students from various schools and colleges affiliated with the university, demonstrating keen interest in enhancing their financial acumen.
This initiative showcases the Cluster University of Jammu’scommitment to empowering students with real-world, career-oriented skills, and nurturing a generation of financially literate, future-ready investors prepared to navigate the complexities of modern financial markets.
