| Director CAD conducted extensive tour of Doda, Kishtwar districts | | |  Early Times Report
JAMMU, June 14: Director Command Area Development, Jammu, Shiv Kumar Gupta , JKAS accompanied by a team of officers, Roshan Lal Project Officer, CAD Samba , Alyas Akhter Gattu ASCO Supwal, Brij Mohan Rana ASCO Dayalachak and other field staff of sub division Dayala chak concluded an extensive tour of Doda and Kishtwar Districts. Director CAD, Jammu inspected the various sites of ongoing OFD works of Bhalla block under UT CAPEX of Doda and ongoing work at Chatroo block in Kishtwar under NABARD Schemes for the current financial year. He interacted with progressive farmers about the on going CAD activities. The progressive farmers thank the Director Command Area Development Jammu for the construction of field channels as these initiatives helped the farmers a lot in boosting their socio-economic conditions. Many farmers on the spot apprised the Director CAD that they are now getting irrigation water at their tail ends and transplanting the paddy crop well in time and others zaid crops after the construction of field channels. The Director instructed ASCO and field staff to survey and prepare a detailed project report of the works to be taken in future to mitigate the problems of the farmers. |
