| DIG Udhampur-Reasi Range holds security review meeting ahead of SANJY- 2025 | | |  Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, June 14: Dy. Inspector General of Police, U-R Range Ms. Sarah Rizvi IPS, convened a meeting with regard to preparation of security arrangements for upcoming Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2025 as well as present security scenario of UR Range. The meeting was attended by SSP Udhampur Sh. Amod Ashok Nagpure-IPS, Addl. SP Udhampur Sh. Sandeep Bhat along with CO 137 Bn CRPF, SDPO Chennai, DySP DAR Udhampur, DySP Hqrs Udhampur, DySP PC Udhampur, SDPO Ramnagar and supervisory officers of CRPF, CISF, ITBP Coys detailed for SANJY duties.
During the meeting, the DIG U-R Range emphasized the importance of coordinated efforts among all stakeholders to ensure the safety and security of the pilgrims. The DIG highlighted the need for meticulous planning and execution of security measures to address any potential threats and challenges.
It was also discussed that proper liaison be maintained with all the intelligence agencies, Army, Para Military forces and other sister agencies involved in the conduct of SANJY-2025 in their respective jurisdiction and share the same on real time basis.
DIG U-R range stressed for ensuring high level of vigilance and preparedness for smooth conduct throughout the duration of the Yatra. Instructions were disseminated among various subordinate officers and concerned authorities to conduct regular briefing/debriefing and mock drills to ensure that all plans are effectively implemented and executed on ground. |
