Special ticket checking campaign conducted in train number 22478

Jammu, June 15: o ensure safe, pleasant and comfortable journey along with better rail services to the rail passengers, special and intensive ticket checking campaigns are conducted against the passengers traveling without ticket, irregular ticket in Jammu Division of Northern Railway.
Under this campaign, today on 15 June 2025, Chief Ticket Inspector Mr. Tarsem Lal and CCTC Vimal Kumar conducted a special ticket checking campaign in train number 22478 from Jammu to Ludhiana under the guidance of Divisional Railway Manager Mr. Vivek Kumar and under the leadership of Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Mr. Uchit Singhal in Jammu Division.
Under this campaign, 21 passengers were charged and about Rs 55,430 was collected as fine.
Along with this special ticket checking campaign, the OBHS and pantry car staff present in the train were also checked, the cleanliness in the train was also observed. Under this entire successful ticket checking campaign, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Mr. Uchit Singhal said that Jammu Division appeals to all its respected passengers to travel with valid tickets to avoid inconvenience and travel with dignity
