| Inter district drug peddler nabbed | | |  Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, June 17: A police team of PS Udhampur led by its SHO, while performing a routine vehicle Checking at Jakhani naka point intercepted a taxi (JK01BA-1579) for checking purposes. Upon frisking one of the passenger, 10.51 grams of heroin-like banned contraband was recovered from his possession. The accused has been identified as Aqib Ganie S/O Mohd. Shafie Ganie R/O Pantha Chowk Srinagar who was immediately taken into custody.
In this regard, a case FIR No. 221/2025 U/S 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at the PS Udhampur and further investigation is underway. |
