JAMMU, June 17: Acting on reliable information, police team from PS Latti led by its SHO intercepted a group of 08 bovines near the Chappad area, where these bovines were being transported illegally on foot without any valid permission.
All the bovines were rescued on the spot. Bovine smuggler namely Mohd. Shabir S/O Abdul Gani R/O Jig, Chenani was arrested on the spot.
In this regard, a case under FIR No. 08/2025 has been registered at Police Station Latti under the relevant sections of law. Further investigation is underway. |
