| Police claim leads in Surankote blast | | | Early Times report
Jammu, April 25: On the revelation of the four arrested accused, Surankote police has started conducting raids in different areas to nab other Over Ground Workers who are providing assistance to the Lashkar-e-Toiba outfit militants. According to the sources during the interrogation of the four accused arrested in connection with landmine blast namely Abdul Aziz son of Mohd Shafi,Vilayat Hussain son of Lal Khan,Wazir Mohd son of Mir Mohd and Mohd Zaheer son of Mohd Bashir all residents of Bufliaz by SOG sleuths they told that they were working for the LeT outfit militants and in returned got Hawala money worth lakhs from them .They also told that for this consignment they got lakhs of rupees from them. Militants used to get shelter in their houses. Police also recovered four SIMs from their possession with which they made contact to the militants. Two SIMs are of Pak based while the rest are of BSNL and Airtel. They told police that they have some accomplice too in their area who are also assisting the militants for nefarious designs. On their revelation, messages were flashed to Surankote police to conduct raids in the area to arrest the other OWGs. They are presently under the sustain interrogation in JIC, sources maintained. Initially they were arrested by Surankote police and booked under section ¾ ESA, 307,302,120B RPC in police station Surankote.
