Early Times Report JAMMU, June 18: Samvedna Society Chairman Keshav Chopra Organizes Aadhaar Enrollment Camp for Underprivileged Children's residing in "Jhuggi Jhopdi" (Slum) areas. The camp was organized at the office of District Mission coordinator Mission Shakti Jammu Shagun Manchanda and was organized in collaboration with Aadhaar Sewa Kendra Jammu. The primary objective of this initiative is to facilitate the proper rehabilitation of these underprivileged children by providing them with Aadhaar cards. This crucial identification document will serve as a gateway to various essential services and opportunities. A key focus of the camp is to ensure that out-of-school children are identified and subsequently enrolled in schools to continue their studies, paving the way for a brighter future. Speaking at the camp Shagun Manchanda highlighted the importance of such initiatives in integrating marginalized children into the mainstream and providing them with access to education and other vital resources.She also hailed the efforts of Samvedna team for organizing the camp for these children's at one place so that they should not go outside in this scorching heat to get the services of Aadhaar. Keshav Chopra while speaking emphasized the profound impact of such initiatives. He stated, "Our goal is to ensure that every child, regardless of their background, has access to the fundamental right of identity and education. An Aadhaar card is the first step towards unlocking a multitude of opportunities for these children, from healthcare to formal schooling." Chopra further added, "We believe that by bringing these children into the fold of the formal education system, we are not just providing them with knowledge, but empowering them to break the cycle of poverty and build a sustainable future for themselves and their families. This camp is a testament to our commitment to their well-being and upliftment, he added. Peer Mubassir Shah Operational Manager Aadhaar Sewa Kendra, Sunil Choudhary, Khushboo Kapte, Sonali Rana, Meenakshi Thal, Taranjeet Kour, Operator Rahul Kumar, Anju, Manoj Tandon, Sourav Gupta, Abhishek Gupta, Vikas Kumar and others were also present during the camp. |
