KATHUA, June 18: In a significant achievement, Police Station Billawar successfully traced and reunited a missing woman with her family, demonstrating swift response and professional dedication. On 05-05-2025, one person namely Binya Amin S/O Hasan Din R/O Tandi, District Kathua approached Police Station Billawar and lodged a written complaint regarding the disappearance of his daughter, Shahnaz Banu, aged about 25 years. Acting promptly on the complaint, a missing report was lodged vide GD No. 05 dated 05-05-2025 at Police Station Billawar. A dedicated team was constituted under the close supervision of SDPO Billawar Sh. Neeraj Padyar and SHO PS Billawar Insp. Zaheer Mushtaq to trace the missing lady. The team launched an extensive search operation, which involved checking of roadside CCTV footage, tracking digital footprints, and collecting ground-level human intelligence. With relentless efforts, the missing woman was successfully recovered from Buniyar area of District Baramulla, Kashmir. Upon completion of all legal formalities, the woman was safely handed over to her legal heirs. |
