| Sunjawan Garrison organizes plantation drive | | | EARLY TIMES REPORTER

To keep Sunjawan Garrison clean and green, a plantation drive was organized in the station here today.
In the area none than 3000 saplings of various trees including herbal, ornamental and fruit trees were planted during the current year under ‘Arboriculture Drive’. First to plant this sapling was the Commander of Garrison, Brig. R.S. Jamwal who planted sapling at Zorawar Stadium. On this he said during the last six years more than 6000 trees have been planted. He stressed upon the Jawans and their families plant more trees which prevent soil erosion and beside purity atmosphere.
Brig. Jamwal expressed his satisfaction for the efforts being made to improve the quality of soldier’s life and their families. He also complimented the efforts towards making the Sunjawan cantonment into a model military station. The function was attended Jawans, their families and local.
