| GDC Neeli Nallah launches awareness campaign | | |  Early Times Report
UDHAMPUR, June 19: In a proactive initiative aimed at fostering awareness and sensitization regarding admissions under the National Education Policy (NEP-2020) through undergraduate CUET/NON-CUET, GDC Neeli Nallah, Udhampur launched a comprehensive campaign. This endeavour spearheaded by the esteemed Principal of the college, Prof. (Dr.) Seema Arora and meticulously planned by Dr. Sunil Tanoch, Admission Convenor. NEP 2020 aims to transform India's education system by introducing a new curriculum structure, increasing focus on vocational education, promoting holistic development. The campaign witnessed enthusiastic participation from the Admission Committee of the college who ardently engaged in reaching out to students from nearby Higher Secondary Schools.
Dr. Sunil Tanoch, Admission Convenor along with the establishment staff visited GHSS Barolla and Indra Shishu Mandir School and met with the Principals there. He highlighted about the major courses offered by the college and other facilities. He also requested the Principals of the Higher Secondaries to spread awareness about NEP 2020 and the registration process among the students through JK Samarth Admission Portal. It is pertinent to mention that the new curriculum structure offers flexibility and multiple entry-exit options, allowing students to pursue their interests and career goals. The faculty members appointed as members of the committee, will provide comprehensive guidance and support to students throughout the preparation, subject selection, and admission ensuring adept assistance at every step of their academic journey.
