| Soaring mercury has Patintop buzzing with tourists | | |

Udhampur Apr 26- To get relief from hot weather conditions prevailing in Jammu and other parts of country hundreds of tourists have started thronging to famous tourist spot Patnitop in Udhampur since last couple of days and their number remains high on Sunday.
As mercury has touched 36 to37 degrees Celsius in plains of Jammu province breaking all old records of heat during April month, hundreds of tourists from both within and outside are visiting Patnitop and other tourist spots like Sanasar, Sudhmahadev, Mantali. Hundreds of pilgrims visiting to famous Vashnavo Devi Shrine are also extending their visit towards Patnitop every day to enjoy their vacations here with their kids and the number is likely to increase in coming days as majority of school are going to be closed for summer vacation all over the country.
Talking to media persons, Sapna Kotwal of Udhampur said that due to hot weather conditions this time she planned to visit Patnitop to enjoy Sunday here at hill top with her husband to get some relief from the scorching heat and daily over burdened schedule of office work .A tourist from Chawri Bazar Delhi Rahul Aggarwal said that spot is like heaven on earth these days as it is too hot in other parts .She added that they had planned initially to visit at Vashnavo Devi shrine but hot weather conditions further added their trip towards Patnitop . Summer breaks in different school in the state and country would add to the number in coming days. In view of hot weather different educational institutions have already planned to organize summer camps at Patnitop.
