DDC Poonch reviews performance of Banks

POONCH, June 19: District Development Commissioner Vikas Kundal today chaired the District Level Review Committee (DLRC) meeting to review the performance of Banks regarding implementation of Annual Credit Plan (ACP) and dispensation of loan cases under government sponsored schemes for the Quarter ending March 2025 of FY 2024-25.
At the outset Lead District Manager Lead Bank Ravi Kumar informed the house that different Banks in district Poonch have achieved Total business of Rs. 6419.76 crore. The deposits have risen from Rs.3816.86 crore as on 31st March 2024 to Rs. 4218.75 crore as on 31st March 2025 showing a YoY growth of 10.53. Similarly the advances have gone up from Rs.2072.81 crore as on 31st March 2024 to Rs.2201.01 crore as on 31st March 2025 showing YOY growth of 6.18%, while CD ratio of the district stands at 52.17% as on 31.03.2025.
Total Credit Disbursement made by the banks up to March 31 2025 of the FY-2024-25 stand at Rs.1158.70 crore against annual target of Rs. 725.03 crore thereby achieving 160% of the target.
The Priority Sector credit disbursement stands at Rs.495.52 crore against the target of Rs.571.10 crore thereby achieving 87% of the target. Achievement under Non-Priority Sector is Rs.663.18 crore against target of Rs.153.91 crore thereby achieving 431% of the target.
The Chairman DLRC directed the stakeholders to improve priority sector lending to aid self-employment through various schemes of Central and UT Govt.
The implementation of PM Surya Ghar Muft Bijli Yojna was also discussed and the chairman directed banks to finance solar energy scheme to achieve the objective of free power to all.
