| Demonstrations, protest against JMC working | | |

Jammu, Apr 26: Residents of Rehari, New Plot, Sarwal, and Amphalla today held massive demonstration against the working of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMNC) which has failed to provide basic amenities to the people of these areas.
Addressing the demonstration, Sunil Dimple said, JMC has failed to come up to the expectation of the people of Jammu West Constituency and added same is the position of other wards of the city. He said heaps of Garbage and dirt are found everywhere. Dilapidated condition of drains and over flowing dirty water has added more miseries to people’s problems. He urged upon the Chief Minister to look into the matter on priority and save city of temples from spreading of any epidemic.
He further said that no attention is being paid to improve traffic system in the city, beside roads are in worst condition. He on the occasion re-iterated the demand of bifurcation of Jammu west assembly constituency.
Among others who took part in the protest rally were Ramesh Chander Kohli, Kishan Lal, Satish Sharma, Joginder Kumar, Sham Saroop Gupta, D.N Bhat, Kuldeep Sharma, Ajay Sharma, Kali Dass, Kaka, Raju, Ravinder Verma and Shiv Kumar.
