Bharatiya Yog Sansthan Celebrates 11th International Yoga Day

Jammu, June 22: The Bharatiya Yog Sansthan Jammu and Kashmir marked the 11th International Yoga Day with great fervor and enthusiasm at its Ashram in Gole Gujral, Jammu. The event drew over 600 yoga practitioners and 300 students from various government schools, making it a resounding success.
Senior yoga experts led the yoga session, which followed the International Yoga Day protocol. Dr. Devansh Yadav IAS, Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation, graced the occasion as Chief Guest, accompanied by Sh. Gurdev Kumar JKAS, Joint Director School Education department, as Guest of Honor.
Sh. Satyapal, State Head of Bharatiya Yog Sansthan J&K, highlighted the organization’s commitment to providing selfless and free service to people worldwide. He also mentioned that the organization facilitated over 50 institutions in celebrating International Yoga Day by deploying trained yoga teachers.
Dr. Devansh Yadav praised the organization’s efforts in spreading yoga’s benefits to a wide audience. He emphasized the importance of incorporating yoga into daily life and creating awareness about its benefits.
The Chief Guest also inspected the Yog Ashram, expressing satisfaction with its construction and maintenance. Sh. Jia Lal Sharma, State Secretary of Bharatiya Yog Sansthan, conducted the program, which concluded with a serene Shanti Path.
