JAMMU, June 23: In a significant action under the Unlawful Activities Act 1967, Udhampur Police today attached immovable property (land) bearing Khasra No. 232 linked to accused Mohd Shafiq S/O Nazir Ahmed R/O Kadwah who is presently under Judicial custody.
The attachment has been carried out under Section 25 of the UAPA in connection with Case FIR No. 23/2024 registered at Police Station Basantgarh under sections 18,19, and 39 of the UAPA.
The said property has been identified during the investigation as being linked to terror-related activities.
As per the order executed by the Investigating Officer the said land has been officially attached and is now legally restricted from being sold/leased/ transferred or involved in any third-party transaction. |
