JAMMU, June 23: Partap World School, Pathankot, became a hub of inspiration and service as Brig Anjan Kumar Basumatari from Indian Army, inaugurated a Blood Donation Camp and delivered a powerful motivational talk to the NCC Naval Cadets attending the ongoing 10-day Residential Camp. The blood donation drive saw enthusiastic participation from NCC cadets, reinforcing the message of selfless service and social responsibility. Such camps not only support the healthcare system by ensuring timely availability of blood but also help young cadets understand the value of contributing to society in meaningful ways. During his address, Brig Basumatari inspired the cadets with stories of dedication, courage, and discipline from his vast military experience. He emphasized the importance of integrity, resilience, leadership, and teamwork—qualities essential for anyone aspiring to join the Armed Forces or serve the nation in any capacity. His interaction left a lasting impact, motivating many cadets to pursue careers in defence and embody the values of the Indian Army in their daily lives. Commanding Officer Cdr. N. Nishant appreciated the cadets' proactive participation, stating, “This camp goes beyond routine training. It's about building a mindset of service, strength, and commitment, which these cadets are displaying remarkably.” Mr. Sunny Mahajan, Director of Partap World School, said, “Hosting this initiative at our campus is a matter of pride. Brig Basumatari’s words have sparked a new sense of purpose among the cadets. We believe in nurturing future leaders who are not just academically strong but also morally and socially conscious.” Ms. Subhra Rani, Principal of PWS, added, “Our students are fortunate to gain exposure to real-life role models like Brig Basumatari.
